I pride myself in being an educator and an advocate for my patients. Biography: Kimberly Stone, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Colorado Skin Care in Englewood, Colorado. She specializes in general dermatology with a particular interest in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Stone received her medical degree from Duke University. While there, she received a Howard Hughes research scholarship before completing her internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She then completed a three-year residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital and affiliated hospitals. Dr. Stone began her working career in Plano, Texas, before moving to Colorado, where she has been a part of the Englewood Dermatology Center. After practicing alone as a dermatologist for eight years, she expanded her office by bringing on a physician assistant, Amy Huber, PA-C, to assist her with her growing practice. Her office is adjoined to her husband's, who practices oral, maxillofacial, and facial plastic surgery. An active participant at national meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Stone regularly gives presentations to local physicians groups and community groups. Besides being a dermatologist, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Thomas Stone, and their six children. She also enjoys running, doing Pilates, and skiing.

Care Philosophy: Research proves that patient outcomes are better when the patient is involved with their care, which is why I strive to engage with my patients and respect their preferences. I want to ensure they understand the disease, their diagnosis, treatment options (including clinical trials), and the goals of their treatment. I tailor treatments based on disease state and biology and coordinate patient care with other physicians and medical personnel (like social workers and genetic counselors) so the patient has seamless care.

Care Philosophy: I believe that the role of physicians is to educate patients and to help them make the best decisions possible regarding their own care. The idea that physicians know best and should dictate treatment to patients is archaic. Instead, physicians serve as teachers by educating patients about their diseases and their treatment options and helping patients select the best treatment for their situation. I focus my clinical practice on patients with cancers of the blood (lymphomas, leukemias, and myeloma). I emphasize to patients the importance of participating in clinical trials whenever possible both to ensure that they are receiving the most up-to-date, cutting-edge treatments for their diseases and to help advance the field of oncology. ??

Care Philosophy: After being in practice for more than 10 years, Dr. Nemechek understands the importance of thoroughly explaining the medical decisions that his patients face. He takes the time to review all treatment options while completely answering questions so patients can feel confident placing their trust in him. Dr. Nemechek treats each patient as a whole person who deserves compassionate, quality care and support through their treatment.

Care Philosophy: When caring for individuals with cancer and blood disorders, the main focus tends to be on the treatment. However, it is equally important to address their emotional and spiritual needs. Giving patients, as well as their family members and friends, the time and education required to help navigate them through the experience is just as important. Paying close attention to ones overall needs and well-being is my main priority when treating all patients.?

Care Philosophy: Dr. Nallapareddy takes a collaborative approach in patient care, taking the time to listen and getting to know her patients and their families as well as educating them on different treatment options, because she believes better outcomes are achieved when patients understand and embrace their care.
