She was appointed as Administrative Chief Resident in her final year of residency. She also received several awards during her residency training such as Wyeth Grant Recipient for 19th Annual Resident Reporter Program by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and National Institute of Health/NMA Fellows in Academic Careers Grant Recipient. Upon graduation, she was appointed as faculty to the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ayim relocated to Houston to pursue her dream of private practice focusing on her philosophy of knowing all her patients and their families.
