She remembers watching her father go through medical training as a young child and loved the idea of spending each day helping people. Not only did it include her interest in nutrition, but it also presented her with a specialty that would allow her to interact with patients in both an office setting and while performing procedures.&#160In her free time, Wasserman enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. They love relaxing at the lake and traveling around the beautiful state of Michigan.Being a gastroenterologist is not just a job for me &#173&#8211 it is a passion.
