Care Philosophy: Dr George Yang is an Assistant Member in the Section of Head and Neck and Endocrine Oncology in theMoffitt Cancer Center Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr Yang received his MD from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. He completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr Yang's clinical interests focus on the use of radiotherapy techniques such as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) to treat patients with head/neck and endocrine cancers.

Care Philosophy: Dr Sepideh Mokhtari is an Assistant Member in the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Mokhtari received her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, TX. She completed a Neurology Residency at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident. She most recently completed a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Mokhtari's clinical interests are primarily in brain tumors and neurologic complications of cancer. Her research focus is neurologic complications of immunotherapy and paraneoplastic syndromes.

Care Philosophy: Dr Lancet, a Senior Member and Professor at Moffitt Cancer Center and Chair of the Department of Malignant Hematology, is well known for his expertise in the care of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other related hematologic cancers. He has a special interest in the care of older adults with these diseases and also leads the Leukemia Program here at Moffitt, where he has built a large portfolio of clinical trials for patients with AML and MDS. Dr Lancet completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of Rochester (New York), before relocating to Moffitt Cancer Center in 2004.

Care Philosophy: Dr Chavez is an Associate Member in the Lymphoma Section of the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Chavez earned his MD from the Medical School at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his residency in Hematology at Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins/Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He did his Internal Medicine training at the State University of New York in Buffalo, New York and completed his Medical Oncology training at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Chavez is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Care Philosophy: Jhanelle E Gray, MD is the Department Chair, Program Leader and a Senior Member for Thoracic Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC), co-Leader of the Cancer Center Support Grant Molecular Medicine Program and Professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. A renowned Thoracic medical oncologist and clinical scientist, Dr Gray is actively involved and leads numerous clinical research trials that investigate novel immunotherapeutic and targeted therapy drug combinations for lung cancer which have greatly influenced standard of care treatment. Her research has generated over 80 publications in scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, including original manuscripts and reviews.

Care Philosophy: Xavier F Cannella, MD, FACS is a peripheral vascular and general surgeon. He began his practice after completing his vascular fellowship in his native Tampa in 1991. He is certified by the America Board of Surgery and The American Board of Wound Healing. He is a Fellow of the America College of Surgeons, a member of The Florida Vascular Society, Vascular Access Society of America and The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. He is fluent in Spanish and sees patients ages 18 years and older.

Care Philosophy: Dr Brian Czerniecki is Chair and Senior Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Breast Oncology. Dr Czerniecki received his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Maine and his MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and his PhD from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson and Rutgers University. Dr Czerniecki completed his general surgical residency at The Ohio State University and was Surgical Oncology Fellow at the NCI with Dr Steven Rosenberg prior to his position at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Biography: Dr. Grogan received his PhD in Pharmacology and MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency followed by a Physician-Scientist Training Program/Medical Oncology Fellowship (Neuro-Oncology Track) at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Grogan joins Moffitt from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he was a Faculty Clinical Instructor in Neuro-Oncology and Medical Oncology, Department of Medicine, and a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Oncology, McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research.Dr. Groganspecializes in the management of central nervous system malignancies, with a focus on treating patients with primary CNS cancers including both low- and high-grade gliomas. Hisclinical interests include precision and individualized treatment strategies for patientswith high-grade gliomaswhile also focusing heavily on quality-of-life considerations.

Care Philosophy: Dr Enas Abdallah is an Assistant Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Malignant Hematology. Dr Abdallah earned her MD from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Allegiance Health and a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Beaumont Health in Michigan. Dr Abdallah's clinical and scholarly interests are focused on inpatient management of malignant hematology patients. She will work closely with all members of the inpatient team to optimize care and outcomes.

Care Philosophy: Dr Voss received an MD from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. She completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, and most recently completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr Voss's clinical interests include extremity sarcomas, complex retroperitoneal and abdominal sarcomas, GISTs, and adrenal tumors (both benign and malignant).

Care Philosophy: Dr John Mullinax is an Associate Member in the Sarcoma Department and Immunology Department of Moffitt Cancer Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is the Surgical Director of the Cellular Immunotherapy Program and the Associate Program Director for the Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at Moffitt. Dr Mullinax is board-certified in both Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology by the American Board of Surgery. Dr Mullinax's primary clinical focus is the surgical management of patients with soft tissue sarcoma throughout the body, to include retroperitoneal sarcoma and gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

Care Philosophy: Dr Xie is a hematologist and assistant member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Malignant Hematology Department. Dr Xie completed her hematology/oncology fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, Master of Science in Clinical Research and Geriatric fellowship training at the UCLA, Ronald Reagan Medical Center. She focuses on treating myeloid malignancies and precursor stages, including clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP), clonal cytopenia (CCUS), MDS, MPN, CMML, and Acute Leukemia. Her research focuses on clinical and translational science, including identifying and preventing cancer at early stage, bridging bench-to-bedside research with designing novel therapeutics and clinical trials.

Care Philosophy: Dr Vogelbaum is an internationally known leader in neurosurgical oncology and a distinguished investigator in laboratory research, translational and clinical trials in gliomas. Dr Vogelbaum is currently Chief of Neurosurgery and Program Leader of the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He has served on or led numerous scientific committees and holds an array of honors and awards, as well as leadership positions at the regional, national, and international levels. He is the principal investigator and co-investigator of a broad range of early-phase investigator-initiated therapeutic trials, both national and international multisite collaborative studies. He has published over 190 peer-reviewed and invited articles.

Care Philosophy: Dr Isenalumehe earned her MD from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, CUNY Medical College, City College of New York (BA/MD Program) / Albany Medical College, New York and her MS degree in Clinical and Biomedical Investigation from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatric Residency at NJMS-Rutgers (former: University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, where she also served as Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Chief Resident. She completed a Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, University of Southern California, where she also served as Chief Fellow.

Care Philosophy: Dr Locke is a medical oncologist and translational researcher in the Department of Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy. He leads the Immune Cell Therapy (ICE-T) initiative at Moffitt, an integrated cross-departmental translational team. Dr Locke is a clinical research leader in the field of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell therapy, acting as a national P.I. for several pivotal trials of anti-CD19 CARs for lymphoma. In addition, Dr Locke is translating findings from his laboratory into new cellular immunotherapies such as the Moffitt created whole protein survivin tumor vaccine for multiple myeloma.
