His dedication to advancing spinal health care has him actively participating in clinical trials and studies. He was one of the first in the region to use the MetRx MIS system for lumbar and cervical surgery, the DLIF/XLIF approach for spinal fusion and deformity work, the Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty procedures for spinal fractures, the IDET procedure for low back pain, and the ProDisc artificial disc. He is pioneering minimally invasive surgery techniques for the treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Biography: Dr. David Lee specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He chose orthopedic surgery because, by studying and mastering the incredible complex anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, he could help people return to their normal form and function. His goal as an orthopedist is to get patients back to doing the activities they love and to help them live pain-free. We have many treatments options to offer patients, including therapy, injections, and surgery, if needed. Most of all, Dr. Lee looks forward to forming meaningful relationships with his patients, answering their questions, and involving them in shared decision making. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with his wife, hiking, running, and cycling.
