Her gynecologic cancer research has been published in various medical journals, and she has delivered presentations at annual medical meetings across the country. After graduating from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with research honors, Dr. Kanis completed her residency in OB/GYN at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Northwestern School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
