In 2011, Dr Costa completed a Master Degree in Clinical Research at University of Pittsburgh and Clinical Fellowship Training at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr Costa was an Instructor at the Developmental Therapeutics Program at Northwestern University, Chicago, where he developed early phase clinical trials for the treatment of breast cancer. He has already authored and co-authored over 40 scientific manuscripts.

In 2012, he completed a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and then a Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Binitie's clinical interests include bone and soft tissue sarcomas, limb preserving surgeries and sarcomas in all patients, with a focus in pediatric and young adults. His research interests include limb preservation after oncologic resection, expandable pediatric limb reconstruction, and adolescent and young adult sarcomas.

Care Philosophy: Dr Kuykendall is an Assistant Member at Moffitt Cancer Center in the Department of Malignant Hematology. He earned his MD from University of Florida College of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Florida and a subsequent Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. He primarily focuses his clinical and research efforts on myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), MDS/MPN overlap syndromes and systemic mastocytosis (SM) where he is dedicated to developing novel, disease-modifying therapies for these rare diseases.

Care Philosophy: Dr Jaglal completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of South Florida and Moffitt Cancer Center. His research interests are in benign hematologic disorders: hemophilia, von Willebrand's disease, anemias, hemostasis and thrombosis disorders. Clinically, Dr Jaglal is a hematologist/oncologist and member of Moffitt Medical Group in the Satellite and Community Oncology Department practicing at Tampa General Hospital and Moffitt international Plaza. Care Philosophy: Dr Arnold Etame is a Neurological Surgeon and Scientist specializing in Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center, and Associate Professor of Oncology at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. Dr Etame has extensive expertise in the treatment of malignant gliomas notably glioblastoma (GBM) and he is part of a very small group of neurosurgeons with National Institute of Health (NIH) funding to develop impactful therapies for glioblastoma. He performs a substantial number of surgeries in eloquent and non-eloquent regions of the brain with image-guided stereotactic techniques entailing functional MRI and DTI tractography neuro-navigation.

Care Philosophy: Dr Lancet, a Senior Member and Professor at Moffitt Cancer Center and Chair of the Department of Malignant Hematology, is well known for his expertise in the care of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other related hematologic cancers. He has a special interest in the care of older adults with these diseases and also leads the Leukemia Program here at Moffitt, where he has built a large portfolio of clinical trials for patients with AML and MDS. Dr Lancet completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of Rochester (New York), before relocating to Moffitt Cancer Center in 2004.

Care Philosophy: Dr Chavez is an Associate Member in the Lymphoma Section of the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Chavez earned his MD from the Medical School at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his residency in Hematology at Hospital Edgardo Rebagliati Martins/Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He did his Internal Medicine training at the State University of New York in Buffalo, New York and completed his Medical Oncology training at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Chavez is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Care Philosophy: Dr Kenneth Shain is an associate member in the Malignant Hematology program in the Department of Malignant Hematology, Tumor Biology, and the Chemical Biology and Molecular Medicine Program. Dr Shain has also been appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in the Department of Oncologic Sciences.Dr Shain is also a Director of the Myeloma Research Center.Dr Shain is a clinician scientist with time divided by clinic, clinic trials and translational research with a primary focus in multiple myeloma and other plasma cell relation disorders (including Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia and Primary Amyloidosis).

Care Philosophy: Jhanelle E Gray, MD is the Department Chair, Program Leader and a Senior Member for Thoracic Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC), co-Leader of the Cancer Center Support Grant Molecular Medicine Program and Professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. A renowned Thoracic medical oncologist and clinical scientist, Dr Gray is actively involved and leads numerous clinical research trials that investigate novel immunotherapeutic and targeted therapy drug combinations for lung cancer which have greatly influenced standard of care treatment. Her research has generated over 80 publications in scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, including original manuscripts and reviews.

Care Philosophy: Dr Chatwal earned her MD at Florida State University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr Chatwal's clinical focus is the medical oncology management of patients with genitourinary malignancies, particularly prostate cancer. Her research focus is on prostate cancer clinical trials and outcomes. Dr Chatwal also has a practical and research interest in the important issue of provider burnout.

Care Philosophy: Dr Extermann is Program Leader in the Senior Adult Oncology Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Martine Extermann is also a Professor of Oncology and Medicine at the University of South Florida. She earned her medical degree and a PhD at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She has a Swiss Board Certification in Internal Medicine, specializing in Hematology-Oncology. She also holds ABIM certifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. She has worked at Moffitt since 1994 and has been a faculty member since 1997. Her clinical activity and research focus on cancer in older patients.
