Biography: Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.

In 2021, I started a private practice, called Florida Urogynecology Specialists, to better serve my patients and surrounding referring physicians with a more patient focused care and improved patient access practice. Care Philosophy: Ajay Patel MD is a board certified general surgeon vascular surgeon and bariatric medicine physician who has been in practice since 1999 He was valedictorian of his class at Brandon Senior High School in Brandon Fla and earned his Bachelor of Science degree with honors at the University of Miami in Coral Gables He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine and then undertook his general surgery residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville S C where he earned the Joseph C McAlhany Award for Resident of the Year three consecutive years and completed his tenure as Academic Chief Resident He next completed advanced fellowship training in vascular surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis Dr Patel s special clinical interests include minimally invasive endovascular surgery peripheral vascular angiography wound care arterio venous fistulas and grafts and the surgical correction of abdominal aortic aneurysms

Biography: Dr. Mino is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon specializing in diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus in addition to his general surgery interests. Dr. Mino obtained his Bachelors degrees at Wheaton College with majors in Biology, Economics, and Theology. He attended medical school at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he received the concomitant degrees of Medical Doctor and a Masters of Public Health. He did his general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic of Ohio and stayed on for his fellowship in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. Dr. Mino is double board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in both fields and presented at numerous national conferences. Dr. Mino's particular areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic treatment for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pelvic floor dysfunctions including rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, and rectoceles. He also treats anorectal pathology including fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, perianal abscesses, and condylomas.

Care Philosophy: Dr Manley earned his MD degree at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a Urologic Residency at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri anda Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr Manley's clinical practice centers on malignant tumors of the prostate, kidneys, bladder and testis. Using a variety of surgical techniques, including robotic and open surgery, he supports the comprehensive treatment plans for patients with genitourinary cancers at Moffitt.

Biography: Dr. Ghalyaie is board certified and fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery. She specializes in treating diseases and disorders of the colon, rectum and anus, including cancer and hereditary cancer syndromes, inflammatory bowel disease, and complex anorectal conditions. Fluent in English and Farsi, Dr. Ghalyaie performs an array of minimally invasive surgical procedures such as robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM). She also is skilled in performing sphincter-preserving surgery for rectal malignancies and inflammatory bowel disease to avoid the need for a permanent colostomy.Dr. Ghalyaie completed medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran before moving to the U.S. for internship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her five years of residency training spanned three institutions: Baylor College of Medicine, The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Ghalyaie went on to complete colon and rectal surgery fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
