Biography: Ashley Althoff, DO, is a colorectal surgeon. Dr. Althoff earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. She originally joined AdventHealth in 2023 when she was awarded an ACGME colorectal surgery fellowship, and now joins the organization permanently. Biography: Matthew R. Wilson, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon who earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University in 2006. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He then practiced general surgery for the U.S. Navy until 2015. During his time on active duty, he was honored with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as two Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medals. Upon discharge, he completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at AdventHealth Orlando. Dr. Wilson has practiced colon and rectal surgery for seven years at Utica Park Clinic and Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Wilson is an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and an adjunct professor of surgery at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa.
