I have a comprehensive approach to manage foot and ankle disorders and sport-related injuries with the goal of returning patients to their activities of choice.I have 8 years of experience in the military treating elite athletes and special forces patients, taking into consideration their unique goals and limitations with the aim of returning them quickly to high-impact sport. Using a combination of new devices, arthroscopic techniques and focused physical therapy, patients have an excellent opportunity to resolve their acute and chronic problems.As one of only 7% of female orthopaedic surgeons in the United States, I am also able to forge a distinct relationship with my lady patients as we treat their muscloskeletal disease. I offer a warm and friendly environment where bone, muscle, and joint disorders are managed within the setting of the many demands placed on women today.Finally, I am a proud product of the Cuban Diaspora with a deep respect for the elders of our community.
