Biography: Salil Shah, MD is board certified in both general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Shah was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ where he received numerous teaching awards. Dr. Shah continued his training with a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital the main teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Ma. He is an integral part of Einstein Cardiology Associates and believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive patient-centered care. Certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and echocardiography, Dr. Madubata is a reliable cardiologist who is interested in providing thorough and preventative cardiac care with a special focus on imaging modalities to help diagnose various cardiac conditions and guide treatment options for these conditions. He completed his bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He received his medical degree from Tufts University. He also completed a residency in internal medicine at Brown University.
