Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Davis worked for the Musculoskeletal Institute at Duly Health and Care as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He served as the academic lead for Duly Health Cares Sports Medicine group and as the head team physician and medical director for North Central College Athletics. After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then continued his education with his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital UHZ Sports Medicine Institute and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate in New York and his advanced training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. Dr. Abraham went to medical school at the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, BS/MD 7-year program. The program has a core initiative in preventative care, which is synonymous with Dr. Abraham's goal of providing mutli-disciplinary approaches for hip and knee arthritis starting with collaborations with primary care physicians.Dr. Abraham's clinical expertise involves hip and knee arthritis, failed/painful hip and knee replacements, sports related injuries, and fractured bones.
