Biography: Dr. Yi (Wilson) Wang is a board-certified Surgeon at HCA Florida Lake City Surgical Specialists. He earned his medical degree and Ph.D. in Neuroscience in Shanghai China, from a top-ranking institution nationally and globally. Dr. Wang completed his Neurosurgery residency there, and he later practiced as an attending neurosurgeon with a focus on neurosurgery and neurovascular intervention.In 2005, Dr. Wang came to US as a visiting fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia, then worked as a neuroscientist there and published numerous articles and book chapters and presented on many conferences. He then underwent a general surgery internship at the University of Virginia and PGY-2 training at Lincoln Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College.Although Dr. Wang returned to work as a neuroscientist at the University of Virginia due to immigration legalities.
