Biography: I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1991 and completed my residency training at Regions Hospital in 1994. I enjoy working in the family practice setting and my special interests include the Family Centered Birth Project, breastfeeding promotion and colposcopy. I am also a clinical instructor with the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in the Medical School at the University of Minnesota. Biography: As a family medicine clinician, I love hearing an individual's story. I believe there is so much to be gained by sitting down, actively listening, and validating someone's lived experience. In doing so, I am better able to understand where my patient is coming from, along with the direction that we will journey towards next. Some of my favorite moments in medicine come when the computer is closed and the sole focus is the person/family sitting in front of me. My practice consists of full-spectrum outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and obstetrics and newborn care. As an avid cyclist and runner (also a big hockey fan), I also have a particular interest in sports medicine for all ages.

Biography: I am a family medicine doctor with special interests in diabetes, mental health, sports medicine and urgent care medicine. I enjoy patient education, and truly believe that working as a team with patients and their families will result in the best care.
