He is a member of the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract and the American College of Surgeons Dr. Potter received his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Maricopa Medical Center and completed his fellowship in hepatobiliary, pancreatic gastroinestinal minimally invasive surgery at Providence Portland Medical Center in Oregon.
