Biography: John Roberts, M.D., is a board-certified thoracic and cardiac surgeon at Baptist Health Lynn Cancer Institute, focusing on surgical treatments of lung and esophageal cancers. Dr. Roberts earned his medical degree with honors from Yale University and earned his MBA at Auburn University. His postgraduate training included an internship and residency program in surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident in surgery and completed an oncology and trauma fellowship. Biography: Eileen de Grandis, M.D., RPVI, FACS, is a board-certified vascular surgeon at BocaCare | Vascular Surgery, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of aortic disease, peripheral artery disease for limb salvage, cerebrovascular disease, hemodialysis access, as well as comprehensive venous and lymphatic treatment. Dr. de Grandis joined BocaCare from Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Bayfront Health Punta Gorda. During her time there as a lead vascular surgeon, she served as co-chair of the Radiation Safety Committee and provided training, education and enacted safety measures for the staff. During her residency at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. de Grandis served as the administrative chief. She was responsible for managing 75 surgical residents and their training rotations. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Vascular Surgery and Perspectives in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy.
