Prior to becoming a Doctor, He was a member of the Peruvian national Swim Team where he competed internationally. He studied Chemistry and Math at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, received his Medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Residency degree from Ocean University Medical Center, New Jersey, and Child and Adolescent fellowship degree from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, New Jersey.
