Biography: Terry Presley, DO, is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopedic physician with Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc., and he is affiliated with Research Medical Center Brookside Campus in Kansas City, Missouri.He has special interest in joint replacements and has specialized training in advanced hip and knee reconstruction techniques, including minimally invasive orthopedic surgery and muscle sparing approaches. Dr. Presley completed medical training at Midwestern University and the University of Louisville. He holds active memberships in the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons, and Jackson County Osteopathic Association. He is also an assistant professor of surgery at Kansas City University.

Care Philosophy: While pursuing my undergraduate degree in organismal biology at the University of Kansas, I was a wide receiver on the Kansas Jayhawks football team. This experience helped give me special insight and compassion for sports-related injuries. My approach to patient care is somewhat like what was instilled in me in playing football and other sports. I see my relationship with my patients as a team effort. My goal is that we make decisions together based on what they need and want from the care I provide.
