Biography: Dr. Miguel Fana Jr. serves as President of Fana Medical Group, an Internal Medicine/Family Medicine practice with four offices split between Pinellas and Pasco County. Dr. Fana completed his residency training at New York Hospital-Queens, a Weill Cornell Medical College Affiliate, where he served his program as Chief Resident. Dr. Fana served as Associate Medical Director for JSA Healthcare's Tampa Bay region from 2000 to 2005 prior to founding Fana Medical Group.Dr. Fana was recently elected President of The Pinellas County Medical Association and has provided significant contributions to several local residency training programs. In 2009, in appreciation of his tireless efforts, he was awarded the Teaching Faculty of the Year Award by the St Petersburg General Family Medicine Residency Program.Dr. Fana is a philanthropist and a proud Christian.
