Biography: Dr. Wajahat Humayun is a board-certified physician specializing in Interventional and Structural Cardiology. Dr. Humayun began his medical career at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) degree in March 2012. Following this, he pursued further training in the United States, completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health in Abington, PA from July 2014 to June 2017. He distinguished himself as Chief Resident during his tenure from July 2017 to June 2018. Dr. Humayun then completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, from July 2019 to June 2022, followed by a specialized fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center from July 2022 to June 2023 before serving as the Chief Fellow in the Division of Cardiovascular Disease.
