Dr. Young went back to the University of Tennessee Knoxville to complete both her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. During her residency, Dr. Young served as chief resident. She's board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As an obstetrician, Dr. Young has a passion for prenatal care and deliveries. She believes that childbirth is one of the greatest moments in a woman's life and strives to offer comprehensive treatment through the postpartum stage. Dr. Young also has special interests in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, adolescent gynecology, and family planning, including customized contraceptive counseling.
