Biography: Erin Lynn Haifley Clements was born in Opelousas, Louisiana. During childhood she lived in Baytown, Tx., and Ruston, La., where she graduated from high school and entered Louisiana Tech University to study biology and chemistry, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011. She earned her medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport in 2016. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the same institution in 2019 and has developed special interests in patient education, geriatric medicine, and preventive medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.
