Biography: Elisa F. Carroll is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Carroll earned her medical degree from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart School of Medicine in Rome, Italy. After completing a fellowship program at the University of Texas Health Science Center, she successfully completed a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Carroll was Chief Obstetrics and Gynecology resident for the academic year 98-99. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Carroll is marriedand has two children. She speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian.

Biography: Dr. Kathryn Holloway was raised in San Antonio and is delighted to be taking care of women in her hometown. She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Neuroscience at Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts, then returned to Texas for her medical training. Dr. Holloway received her M.D. with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.Dr. Holloway completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. During her training, she developed an interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and completed research on the evaluation and teaching of OB/GYN residents' robotic surgical skills. Her research received an Honorable Mention award by the American Medical Association. During residency, she was also honored with the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.Dr. Holloway chose a career in general Obstetrics and Gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages. She is passionate about helping women live healthy lifestyles during and between pregnancies. As the daughter of a family of physicians, Dr. Holloway understands the commitment to the physician-patient relationship. She lives with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children. They enjoy traveling, spending time with family and exploring new restaurants.Dr. Holloway is a certified aesthetic physician and recently began offering FDA-approved Botox, Juvaderm and Kybella in-house.
