Biography: Jaime Giraldo Arango, M.D., FACS, is a surgeon at Christiana Care Health System specializing in general surgery, critical care, trauma and laparoscopic surgery. He joined Christiana Care following positions as an attending surgeon at regional medical centers associated with integrated health care systems in Iowa. Dr. Giraldo is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Giraldo earned his medical degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed a general surgery residency at Instituto de Ciencias de La Salud, Medellin, Colombia. He also completed general surgery residency and fellowships in surgery critical care and acute care surgery at Christiana Care. Dr. Tikellis is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of General Surgery. Dr. Tikellis earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed his residency in general surgery and fellowship in trauma and critical care medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Society of Breast Surgeons.
