Biography: Daniel S. Taylor, MD, FACS is a board certified, general surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH. He went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Walusimbi is board certified in Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Walusimbi is a Professor at Boonshoft School of Medicine of Wright State University. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for the Surgery for Trauma, and the Eastern Association for Surgery for Trauma. Dr. Walusimbi specializes in Acute Care Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care. He treats a wide spectrum of critical conditions, including complex trauma injuries, respiratory failure, general surgery emergencies, and wounds. His comprehensive approach includes traumatic wound management and surgical interventions, such as minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic abdominal surgery. Dr. Walusimbi is driven by a commitment to providing skilled, personalized care with genuine compassion for every patient.
