Biography: Dr. Ribeiro received his MD degree and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Sao Paulo State University in Botucatu, Brazil. He completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at Hospital Srio-Libans, So Paulo; following his fellowship he continued as a Medical Oncologist. Dr. Ribeiro then completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ribeiro's clinical interests focus on providing care to adult soft-tissue sarcoma patients, mostly those diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, liposarcoma, GIST and desmoid-type fibromatosis. His research interest is in clinical and database research. In addition, he is interested in the study of radiation-associated sarcoma, synovial sarcoma, and desmoid-type fibromatosis

Biography: Dr. Maria Sandoval is an Assistant Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Sandoval received her MD degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York. She completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa. Dr. Sandoval's clinical interest is in radiation oncology with a focus on gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies. Her research interests are centered on advancing techniques that allow for personalized treatment, namely adaptive radiotherapy.
