Biography: Dr. Dustin Huynh is co-medical director of Critical Care at Osceola Regional Medical Center. He attended the University of Hawaii - John A. Burns School of Medicine. He went on to complete a surgical critical care fellowship and general surgery residency with University of South Carolina Palmetto Health, where he was nominated for Resident of the Year and was the recipient of the Chief Resident Award. He is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. Dr. Huynh is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine and Southeastern Surgical Congress. He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine. Other than his interest in trauma and critical care, he specializes in biliary and hernia surgeries. His other areas of interest include minimally invasive laparoscopic/robotic, endocrine, and bread and butter general surgery cases. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travels the world, and anticipates on doing many medical missions in the future.

Biography: Dr. Kimberly Giffard is a Board Certified General Surgeon on staff at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital. Dr. Giffard received training at New York Methodist Hospital and completed a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Giffard specializes in breast and women's surgical care.

Biography: Dr. Kanagarajah is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine and subspecialties. Being eager to care for a wide variety of Pulmonary diseases, Dr. Kanagarajahhas special interest in interstitial lung diseases and advanced bronchoscopic techniques to diagnose lung cancer, treat COPD and asthma. Dr. Kanagarajah completed medical training from one of the leading medical institutions in India and graduated in 2005. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical center in Miami Beach and moved to University of South Florida to complete his Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Prior to starting residency, he dedicated many years to conduct clinical trials and brings his interest forward as he joins Florida Lung Asthma and Sleep specialists where he wishes to explore newer treatment options for complex pulmonary diseases. Dr. Kanagarajah, is a member of American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine. Having presented in various scientific meetings, he has also published several journal articles pertaining to pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine.

Biography: Dr. Alpendre is a fellowship-trained general surgeon who is specialized in minimally invasive general surgery. Dr. Alpendre received his medical school education from the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) in Curitiba-Brazil, the oldest University in the country. He received general surgery training at one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil State University of Campinas, Sao Paulo (UNICAMP).

Biography: Radhika Smith, MD, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon specializing in treating patients with diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. Dr. Smith earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri and completed her residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then received fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. Dr. Smith is also dedicated to training the next generation of surgeons. She has served as an assistant professor of colon and rectal surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine and has received numerous teaching awards throughout her career. She has also served as an examiner and question writer for the colorectal surgery qualifying and certifying board examination.
