Biography: Erin Kate Cassiere, MD, FACOG, practices obstetrics and gynecology at WK Doctors for Women in Shreveport, Louisiana, as part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network. Managing both high- and low-risk pregnancies is a special interest of Dr. Cassiere, as well as minimally invasive robotic surgeries. These advanced surgeries that require only three or four small punctures in the abdomen instead of a large, open cut are a huge benefit for patients. They often go home the same day as their surgery and recovery takes only a couple of weeks so patients can return to their normal routines quickly.In addition to advanced gynecologic procedures, Dr. Cassiere provides well-woman exams for teens and adult women on an annual basis.A native of Shreveport, Dr. Cassiere graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana and LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. Stewart Bundrick, Jr., M.D. graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology before attending medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, where he also completed his urology residency. He went on to Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington to complete a graduate fellowship in urologic oncology. Dr. Bundrick is widely published and has led many clinical trials to advance the cause of urologic research. He has practiced urology in the Shreveport-Bossier area since 1995. Dr. Bundrick has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer.
