Care Philosophy: Daniela Mehech, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician), with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Mehech enjoys getting her patients of all ages and recreation levels moving and being active. She focuses on musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions, including acute and overuse injuries, as well as osteoarthritis and tendinopathy. Dr. Mehech has a particular interest in using ultrasound not only to diagnose and treat via ultrasound-guided injections and procedures, but also to educate patients on their conditions. She values working in a collaborative environment with both patients and with other medical professionals such as orthopedic surgeons and physical or occupational therapists. Originally from California, Dr. Mehech is happy to call Washington home. Outside of medicine, you can find Dr. Mehech cycling in all forms, swimming, running and spending time outdoors with her family.

Care Philosophy: John Hatheway, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management specialist who cares for patients age 18 and older. Dr. Hatheway offers a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with chronic pain, with an emphasis on formulating an individualized plan of care based on the patient's history, physical exam and imaging studies. He utilizes many minimally invasive interventional pain procedures to treat chronic pain. Dr. Hatheway is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience. He has been engaged in clinical research and has authored many scientific articles on pain medicine. Away from work, Dr. Hatheway enjoys flyfishing, boating, hunting and traveling.

Biography: Joanna Branstetter, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in state-of-the-art hand, wrist, shoulder and knee preservation care. Dr. Branstetter had a 20-year career in the United States Army and has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon locally at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the past 14 years. She recognizes that every patient and injury is unique, and designing a treatment specific to the individual is key to successful outcomes. She works with the patient and their care team to develop the best comprehensive, mutually agreeable plan. This may involve both surgical and non-surgical options like physical therapy, stretching, bracing, medications, injections, arthroscopy, surgical reconstruction and joint replacement.Dr. Branstetter is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the Washington State Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Branstetter is passionate about diversity and inclusion in medicine.
