Dr. Hendricks has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, and is considered to be one of the area's preeminent experts in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specifically in knee and hip replacements. He is a leader in adopting the latest total knee replacement technology a smart knee implant for patients who qualify, as he seeks to improve patient outcomes through enhanced precision and accuracy. Dr. Hendricks is frequently called upon by orthopedic colleagues for difficult or complex surgical procedures, and is one of the region's few surgeons who performs total femoral replacements. Although his specialty is hip and knee procedures, Dr. Hendricks has been extremely involved in all aspects of orthopedic education at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he served as an associate professor. Biography: Dr. Cowan is a Kansas City native who returns to join DFP as a Sports Medicine fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, his medical and master's degrees from the University of Kansas, and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS.As part of his fellowship at the TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, Dr. Cowan provided medical care for NHL's Minnesota Wild, MLB's Minnesota Twins, Gustavus-Adolphus college football, and area high schools. His interests are in athletic injuries to people of all ages including ACL reconstruction, multi-ligamentous knee injuries, rotator cuff repairs, and many more procedures for the knee, shoulder, and elbow.When not taking care of patients, Dr. Cowan enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and extended family. He also enjoys fitness, travel, and cooking.

Biography: Dr. Kneeman is an interventional pain physician who completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then moved to Chicago to complete an interventional pain fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, during which he learned state-of-the-art techniques to help manage complex musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal and nerve-related pain disorders, including interventional treatments for neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal stenosis, vertebral compression fractures, and persistent pain after surgery. His goal is to offer opiate-sparing alternatives to help improve both pain and function. Originally from Tucson, AZ, Dr. Kneeman has enjoyed establishing roots in his new hometown of Kansas City. He enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer, reading, and listening to music in his spare time.

Biography: Terry Presley, DO, is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopedic physician with Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc., and he is affiliated with Research Medical Center Brookside Campus in Kansas City, Missouri.He has special interest in joint replacements and has specialized training in advanced hip and knee reconstruction techniques, including minimally invasive orthopedic surgery and muscle sparing approaches. Dr. Presley completed medical training at Midwestern University and the University of Louisville. He holds active memberships in the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He is also an assistant professor of orthopedics at Kansas City University.

Biography: Gregory Barnhill, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic physician with Orthopedic Surgeons, Inc., and he is affiliated with Research Medical Center Brookside Campus in Kansas City, Missouri. He has special interest in treating muscle, bone and joint ailments, sports injuries, degenerative diseases and disorders, and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Barnhill completed medical training at Kansas City University and Normandy Osteopathic Hospital. He holds active memberships in the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons, and Jackson County Osteopathic Association. He is also an assistant professor of surgery at Kansas City University.
