After completing his residency, Dr Peguero completed a fellowship in epilepsy and EEG at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After his fellowship, Dr Peguero was employed at The Watson Clinic, Department of Neurology, Lakeland, Florida, where he also served as Chief of Service of Neurology at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Dr Peguero was an Assistant Professor at Ponce School of Medicine, and most recently, he has worked in private practice. Dr Peguero's clinical interest is in General Neurology, Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology.

Currently, he is an Assistant Member in the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center and an Assistant Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Michigan. He received a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He obtained his residency training in neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Care Philosophy: Dr David Joyce is an Assistant Member in the Sarcoma Department. Dr Joyce earned his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University, Case School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed an Orthopaedic Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. He most recently completed a Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Care Philosophy: Dr Andre Beer Furlan is a skull base and endovascular neurosurgeon at Moffitt Cancer Center and Assistant Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr Beer Furlan earned his MD and PhD degrees from the University of Svo Paulo (FMUSP), a top ranked university in Latin America. He completed the neurosurgery residency at the same institution and practiced as a neurosurgeon and skull base surgeon in Sao Paulo, Brazil before moving to the United States.

Care Philosophy: Dr Piva earned her MD from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, where she also completed her Residency in Neurology. She recently completed a Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Piva has over 40 peer-reviewed publications, has written Investigator Initiated Trials (IIT), and submitted a grant during her Fellowship at Moffitt. Her main clinical and translational research focus will be to develop a program and specialization in onco-neurology. This program will seek to understand, prevent and treat the neurologic complications of immunotherapies such as CAR-T cell Therapy and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors.
