Care Philosophy: I am a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. My clinical interests include rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, and meniscus tears. My goal as an orthopedic surgeon is to return patients back to their pre-injury levels and doing the things that they enjoy doing most. Biography: Dr. Hannon is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in rapid recovery protocols, partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, anterior hip replacement, and complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements. Dr. Hannon focuses on individualizing treatment to each patient to provide the best possible care and outcomes for his patients. Dr. Hannon completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He received multiple awards for excellence in leadership, clinical care, and research. During his orthopedic surgery residency training, Dr. Hannon also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Dr. Hannon pursued an additional year of training in lower extremity adult reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This year was dedicated to specializing in advanced reconstructive surgical care of hip and knee conditions. Dr. Hannon is dedicated to advancing the field of hip and knee replacement through research, education and leadership. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research nationally and internationally. He has received multiple grants and research awards, including the prestigious American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) James A. Rand Young Investigator's Award for his research on reducing opioid use after hip and knee replacement. He currently serves as the co-lead investigator for the AAHKS clinical practice guideline on pain control and anesthesia in hip and knee replacement. He is an AAHKS Health Policy Fellow and serves as a peer reviewer for multiple orthopaedic journals.

Care Philosophy: I treat patients with hip and knee pain, most commonly from arthritis, deformities, dysplasia and prior injuries or trauma. I perform primary and revision hip and knee replacements, including partial and total joint replacements. I particularly enjoy seeing a patient's life transformed almost immediately as they begin their recovery after surgery.

Care Philosophy: Amy Beacom, M.D., is an orthopedic sports medicine physician at Summit Orthopedics specializing in nonsurgical treatment of knee, shoulder, hip, foot, and ankle concerns. She has a special interest in running and swimming injuries, and serves Minneapolis/St. Paul patients. Dr. Beacom completed a sports medicine fellowship at San Jose Medical Center.
