Biography: Keith Hechtman, M.D., is a dual Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 18 physicians in multiple specialties closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in both sports medicine and arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. He is the head team physician for Florida International University and assistant team physician for the Florida Panthers hockey team. Over 2 years ago, he helped establish the relationship between Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Doctors Hospital to improve the healthcare of student athletes. Dr. Hechtman also serves as a clinical instructor for physician assistants and athletic trainers at Barry University, Miami Dade College and Nova Southeastern University. Biography: Luis Rodriguez, M.D., is a primary care sports medicine physician with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and a member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 18 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. Biography: Mariana De Michele, M.D., is a board-certified primary care physician at Baptist Health. Dr. De Michele specializes in womens health, weight management and preventative medicine, including diabetes prevention. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian.
