Care Philosophy: My interests include all aspects of the hand, wrist and elbow. I enjoy taking care of patients of all ages, from newborns with congenital issues to adults with traumatic injuries and arthritic conditions. My goal is to help my patients return to the highest possible level of function. When not taking care of patients, I can usually be found outside playing with my family, swimming, hiking and bicycling in the summer, and skiing in the winter.

Care Philosophy: My father is an internal medicine physician. I grew up seeing how much joy he got from caring for patients. He was definitely my role model and I aspire to emulate his compassion for his patients and passion for the field and science of medicine. A kind person who cares about their problem, will listen to their concerns, educate them about their ailment and provide options for treatment.

Biography: I am a family medicine doctor currently practicing mostly in sports and musculoskeletal medicine. In the past, my practice covered the full spectrum of family medicine, including obstetrics and pediatrics. I really enjoyed it and am glad to have had that opportunity. Today, more than half of my practice is sports medicine and primary care orthopedics for all ages. My family medicine practice is limited to adults. I enjoy being a primary care doctor and establishing long-term relationships, but I also feel that I can provide a level of expertise for people with muscle and joint problems. I encourage people to stay active over their lifetime, doing what they love to do if at all possible, and I try to practice what I preach.

Biography: Disorders of the hand and upper extremity affect those of all ages and negatively impact their quality of life. It is very rewarding to have a particular interest in and to perform surgeries on the hand and wrist that will help those afflicted return to activities that they enjoy. I also have a special interest in upper extremity trauma. Recreational activities that I personally enjoy include jogging, cycling, and hiking.
