He started his academic journey at East Carolina University, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. He further pursued his interest in the life sciences by earning a Master of Science in Anatomy, Physiology, and Cell Biology from the same institution. Dr. Hendricks continued his medical education at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2010. His extensive training culminated with a General Surgery Residency at Western Reserve Hospital through Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine, which he completed in 2015. Dr. Hendricks has developed a patient care philosophy that is deeply influenced by both his academic background and personal family experiences. Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
