He earned his medical degree at Tulane University and completed his residency at AdventHealth in Orlando, where he earned the Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident Award and Joseph Portoghese Resident of the Year Award. He most recently completed his fellowship training with Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. White specializes in advanced hernia surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, upper gastrointestinal surgery, and broad-based general surgery using a variety of advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques.

We've performed thousands of procedures on the abdomen, intestines, esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, thyroid and parathyroid glands, skin and breasts.We are experts in the surgical treatment of all types of cancer, including colon cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, stomach cancer, gallbladder cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer and lung cancer. When cancer is diagnosed and a surgical procedure is done, we make sure patients are scheduled with the appropriate specialists, including medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.Because healing and recovery are typically faster and easier with a minimally invasive approach, our philosophy is always to use the least invasive approach possible that brings the best possible likelihood of a great outcome. We complete 98% of our surgeries laparoscopically, so patients experience less pain, less blood loss and a shorter hospital stay. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. During his many years at Florida Hospital, he has served in positions such as Chief of Staff Elect, Chief of Surgery and Chairman of the Medical Staff Quality Review Committee at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
