Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Armstrong previously served as Director of Robotics and Chief of Surgery at St. Josephs Hospital-North in Tampa. Care Philosophy: Marco Antonio Rajo, MD is a bariatric and general surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is fluent in Spanish and English and helps patients ages 18 and older using surgical and non-surgical treatment options. He has advanced training in obesity medicine and weight-loss surgery, as well as in complex gastrointestinal and hernia surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Rajo was drawn to bariatric surgery because of the unique, lifelong patient-doctor relationship this specialty allows him to build. He places an emphasis on education, nutrition and exercise to move his patients toward their goals. He holds firm that surgery should not be considered an easy way out, but rather a tool that empowers patients to become the healthiest versions of themselves. Care Philosophy: Dr Seth Felder is a board-certified colon and rectal surgical oncologist Associate Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Following fellowship colon and rectal surgical training at the University of Minnesota, he then pursued additional training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Advanced Colorectal Surgical Oncology. He understands the fears patients face with his/her diagnosis, specifically regarding the functional and psychological impact that may result from surgery. He focuses on these important aspects of a patient's quality of life, and when possible, he uses nerve-sparing surgical techniques that can help to preserve anal, bladder, and sexual function.

Biography: Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.
