Biography: Rebecca Gill, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon in the Port Orange/New Smyrna Beach area. Care Philosophy: Haroldo D Melo, MD, wanted to be a doctor for as long as he can remember. Watching his mother work as a critical care nurse as he was growing up likely influenced his decision to pursue medicine. He always felt like being a doctor was in him - as if it wasn't really a choice at all, but just something he was born to do. Dr Melo received his medical degree from Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, completed his residency at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts and is board certified in internal medicine. Biography: Dr. Grove is a board-certified general surgeon who lives and practices in Daytona Beach, Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his integrated general surgery residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and fluent in all aspects of general surgery. Dr. Grove believes in a personal touch and makes it a point to contact his patients directly after surgery in case they have any questions or concerns.
