Care Philosophy: I am a general surgeon, specializing in advanced procedures that employ minimally invasive approaches. I enjoy the goal-oriented nature of surgery, the teamwork that it involves, and the gratification that comes with seeing a surgical patient do well as a result of my technical skills. Surgery is often a last resort for many conditions, and patients can be anxious and have many questions prior to undergoing procedures. I value and respect the relationships I can develop with patients and their families, and find fulfillment in the trust patients place in me at an otherwise difficult point in their lives. I bring this philosophy to my practice to ensure a smooth and comfortable process for patients. I have a particular interest in robotic surgery, and believe that such a minimally invasive approach translates into superior outcomes for patients with respect to postoperative pain, recovery, and function. Accepted Health Plan information is only as accurate as the most current information submitted. Prior to your appointment, it is advisable to verify with a physician office that they are still a participating provider.

Care Philosophy: I treat every patient as if they were a family member. I take the time to make sure that the patient and family understands the nature of the medical condition, all the treatment options, and strategize a tailored, personalized plan of care. I take pride in technical surgical excellence in order to achieve the best outcome to eliminate the disease (tumor, aneurysm, AVM) and optimize quality of life. Our goal is to make a difference, providing the best clinical outcomes and improving quality of life in each patient. ?

Care Philosophy: ``I went into medicine because it combines my love of science with my love of finding ways to help people. I manage my patients' medical problems while focusing on the finite endpoint of finding a cure and making them feel better. I hold my patient's hand and walk them through what can very well be the scariest time in their life while helping them understand what we are going to do to get them through it,`` shares Dr. Wagman.
