Care Philosophy: Dr Creelan earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr Creelan then completed a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center anda Master's Degree in Clinical and Translational Research through the National Institute of Health K30-sponsored SPOR program. Dr Creelan will focus on translational and clinical research, specifically the development of new immune therapies, for the treatment of lung cancers. His research efforts aim to more effectively treat these cancers based on new insights into the biology of the disease.

Care Philosophy: Dr Russell Palm is an Assistant Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Palm received his MD from University of Toledo College of Medicine and most recently completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. Dr Palm's clinical expertise involves use of radiation therapy to treat patients with esophageal, gastric, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, rectal, and anal cancers.

Care Philosophy: Dr Khushalani is the Vice Chair for the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Khushalani's clinical interest is the development of novel therapeutics for people diagnosed with melanoma and other skin cancers. He is greatly interested in the treatment of uveal melanoma, and melanoma that has metastasized to the brain. Dr Khushalani is interested in research on angiogenesis in melanoma and the translation of findings into clinical therapeutics.He is studying the economic impact of new melanoma drugs on healthcare (pharmacoeconomics) with an aim to devise strategies to reduce cost.Dr Khushalani earned his MD from Topiwala National Medical College, University of Bombay, in Maharashtra, India.

Care Philosophy: Dr Zhang is a Genitourinary Oncologist and Interim Vice Chair of the Department of Genitourinary Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is also an Associate Professor of Oncology and Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. His primary research interest is in integrating tumor evolution dynamics into the treatment for advanced prostate cancer. As the clinical research Director of Moffitt Cancer Center's Genitourinary Oncology Department, he has been the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Investigator of more than 50 phase I, II, and III clinical studies since joining Moffitt in July 2010.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Ross is an advanced gastrointestinal surgeon specializing in robotic and single incision laparoscopic operations for conditions of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, pancreas, gallbladder and liver. She was one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to offer laparo-endoscopic single site (LESS) surgery and continues to be a thought leader in developing new and improved minimally invasive procedures. She is co-director of the Advanced GI and HBP Surgery Fellowship at the Digestive Health Institute, which trains new surgeons to master minimally invasive complex surgery.

Care Philosophy: Dr Hodul is a Senior Member and Surgical Oncologist within the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology and Medical Director of Nutrition at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is also a Professor in the Division of Oncologic Sciences through the University of South Florida. Previously she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She then went on to complete both a clinical and research fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Surgical Oncology. Dr Hodul's clinical practice is focused in the areas of pancreaticobiliary and gastrointestinal surgery.

Biography: Dr. Tracey O'Connor in an Associate Member in the Department of Breast Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. O'Connor received her MD degree from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biological Sciences. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester Medical Center, followed by a Medical Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, New York. Dr. O'Connor's most recent appointment was as Associate Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Clinical Associate Professor at The State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. O'Connor's clinical interests focus on the care of breast cancer patients. Her research interests are centered around predicting and understanding the toxicity of therapies and developing strategies to mitigate side effects, particularly in improving the tolerability of treatment for older breast cancer patients.

Care Philosophy: Dr Markowitz is interested in cutaneous oncology and melanoma in particular. He will engage in clinical translational research efforts in tumor immunology and immunotherapy.

Care Philosophy: Gustavo Rivero, MD, is a dual fellowship-trained hematology and medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic leukemia. Dr Riveros areas of clinical expertise includes: acute and chronic myeloid leukemias, acute lymphoid leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasm, and clonal hematopoiesis of indetermined potential (CHIP).

Care Philosophy: Dr Daniel Oliver is an Assistant Member in the Section of Neuro-Oncology and Supportive Care in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Radiation Oncology. Prior to medical school, Dr Oliver served on the faculties of music (cello) at University of Alaska-Fairbanks and Emory University. He received his MD from Emory University School of Medicine and completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. Dr Oliver's clinical interests are in the use of stereotactic and conventional radiation therapy to treat patients with primary and metastatic tumors of the brain and spine.

Care Philosophy: Dr Hatem Soliman is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer in The Center for Women's Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He treats women with all stages of breast cancer, from early disease to locally advanced, as well as metastatic breast cancers. Dr Soliman is a member of the Experimental Therapeutics Program at Moffitt and participates in research on novel drug discoveries. His interest in cancer research dates back to his undergraduate studies in genetics at the University of Georgia, where he won the prestigious Howard Hughes Summer Research Grant.
