Biography: Radhika Smith, MD, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon specializing in treating patients with diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. Dr. Smith earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri and completed her residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then received fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. Dr. Smith is also dedicated to training the next generation of surgeons. She has served as an assistant professor of colon and rectal surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine and has received numerous teaching awards throughout her career. She has also served as an examiner and question writer for the colorectal surgery qualifying and certifying board examination.

Care Philosophy: Timothy Steve McElveen, MD, FACS, joined AdventHealth Medical Group from AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC, where he was a general surgeon for over 20 years and previously served as the hospital's Chief of Staff. He is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned his undergraduate degree in biology and was a William Douglas Memorial Scholarship recipient while earning his medical degree at the USC School of Medicine. Dr. McElveen undertook his internship training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta and his general surgery residency at Georgia Baptist and Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia, respectively. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1997 and is a highly rated surgeon with outstanding patient reviews.

Biography: Dr. Jay Redan, MD is a general surgeon in Celebration, FL and has over 30 years of experience in the field of minimally invasive, laparoscopic surgery and one of Central Floridas most respected general surgeons. He graduated from New Jersey City University in 1986. He is affiliated with AdventHealth Celebration. He is accepting new patients and telehealth appointments.

Care Philosophy: Jonah White, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. He earned his medical degree at Tulane University and completed his residency at AdventHealth in Orlando, where he earned the Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident Award and Joseph Portoghese Resident of the Year Award. He most recently completed his fellowship training with Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. White specializes in advanced hernia surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, upper gastrointestinal surgery, and broad-based general surgery using a variety of advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
