Biography: Christine Marrero, D.O., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Marrero specializes in preventive primary care. She is fluent in English and Spanish.Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2022, Dr. Marrero was an attending physician at Sanitas Medical Center in North Miami Beach, FL.After attending Nova Southeastern University medical school, she served as chief intern for one year and earned the Alan Z. Gartzman award during her time at Rowan University.Dr. Marrero's approach to patient care focuses on listening to patients and understanding their concerns. Biography: William Davis, III, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health, specializing in sports medicine. He speaks English and conversational Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Davis worked for the Musculoskeletal Institute at Duly Health and Care as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He served as the academic lead for Duly Health Cares Sports Medicine group and as the head team physician and medical director for North Central College Athletics. After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then continued his education with his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital UHZ Sports Medicine Institute and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis is a faculty instructor at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. His research on improving outcomes for sports-related injuries can be found in peer-reviewed publications such as Current Orthopaedic Practice and Foot and Ankle Clinics. Dedicated to whole-patient health, Dr. Davis offers comprehensive treatments and postoperative care to help people get back to their busy lives. He takes time to listen and review his patients concerns and collaborates with them to create recovery plans that reflect their goals. Outside of work, Dr. Davis enjoys skiing, golfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Biography: Dr. Jackson G. Cohen is a fellowship-trained, board-certified, interventional pain medicine physician. Dr. Cohen completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn before moving to Miami for his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohen specializes in the treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain, including neck and low back pain, hip, knee and shoulder pain, arthritis, tendon injuries, sports injuries, nerve pain, complex regional pain syndrome, and cancer pain, among other chronic pain conditions. Each patient receives an individualized treatment and management plan that is optimized to fit his or her unique needs. Dr. Cohen practices with a holistic approach, utilizing physical therapy and other modalities, minimally invasive procedures, collaborative patient education, and positive lifestyle modifications to reach healthy, positive outcomes. His ultimate goal is to provide pain relief for his patients, while also helping patients enjoy improved function and higher overall quality of life. He performs a variety of non-surgical and minimally invasive surgical procedures from fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections to the placement of spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps. He stays up to date on the latest advancements in treatment options for his patients in order to offer the best care possible. Dr. Cohen has also published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals, written book chapters, and presented his work at national and international conferences. He continues to participate in clinical research as part of his practice in order to advance the field of pain medicine and outcomes for all patients suffering from chronic and debilitating pain. Most importantly, Dr. Cohen's primary concern is always his patients, and he is passionate about patient care. Outside of work, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and barbecuing, going to the gym, and playing sports.
