Biography: Variety is what led me to become a colorectal surgeon. \n It's a specialty that allows me to perform a number of procedures and interventions and to be part of the full spectrum of care - from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. I love performing outpatient anorectal procedures that can drastically improve a patient's quality of life, as well as abdominal and rectal surgery for cancer, diverticulitis or inflammatory bowel disease, robotic surgery, hernia repairs and endoscopy. \n My approach to healthcare starts with being a careful listener. I spend the time necessary to hear a patient's concerns, evaluate their symptoms and review treatment options with them. He became interested in minimally invasive and endoscopic treatment of diseases these techniques place him at the forefront of surgical innovation to improve patient outcomes and reduce recovery time.
