Biography: Dr. Kevin Chow is a trauma and acute care surgeon as well as a surgical intensivist joining the Acute Care Surgery Division. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and an Acute Care Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital. His clinic interests include surgical innovation, point of care ultrasound, robotic surgery, and trauma. He also has an interest in resident education through simulation and cadaver labs.

Biography: Dr. Francisco Guzman-Pruneda is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He completed his Medical School training in Monterrey, Mexico, his residency in General Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Mount Sinai in New York City. In addition, Dr. Guzman-Pruneda completed two research fellowships: in Immunology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer and in Pediatric Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital (Baylor College of Medicine), and a Global Surgery Exchange Program in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Guzman's clinical specialties include both laparoscopic and robotic approaches in general and bariatric surgery.

Biography: Tiffany Pinchinat, MD, is a general surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian MedicalGroup Brooklyn and an assistant professor of general surgery at Weill CornellMedicine. After graduating from Albany Medical College of Union University, Dr.Pinchinat served her internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. She served her fellowship in surgical critical care at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Pinchinat's work has been published in various medical journals and she has presented her research at annual medical meetings. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and a recipient of the Gerald W. Shaftan TraumaResident Award.

She is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her BSN degree from University of Wisconsin Madison in 2003. She spent the next decade working with medical surgical and critically ill patients at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. She earned her MSN and Acute Care Certification from Marquette University in 2011. She began her career working as a nurse practitioner at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She moved to Rockford in 2012 and joined Rockfrd Gastroenterology Associates. She will be seeing inpatients at OSF St. Anthony's Hospital, Swedish American hospital and Rockford Memorial Hospital. She is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association.
