Biography: Dr. David P Schnur, a partner with the Plastic Surgery Clinic, received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1995. Following his graduation from University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Schnur completed his general surgery residency and plastic surgery residency at The University of Pennsylvania. In 2002 Dr. Schnur completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Hand Center of San Antonio and a Microvascular Fellowship at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. Dr. Schnur specializes in all aspects of plastic surgery including cosmetic surgery, hand surgery and reconstruction surgery. Dr. Schnur joined the Plastic Surgery Clinic in July, 2004 after nearly two years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Health Science Center and The Children's Hospital of Denver.He received his board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery over a decade ago. He has been a leader in the medical community serving as President of the Medical Staff at Presbyterian/ St Luke's Medical Center and is currently co-director of the Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk. He has been recognized by his peers as a "Top Doc" in 5280 magazine. His professional organizational memberships include the Denver Medical Society, Colorado Medical Society, Colorado Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. Dr. Schnur is married and has two boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking, skiing and running. He has run eight marathons and many half-marathons.
