Dr. Tullius received his medical degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha Nebraska after completing a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Biology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio. He has extensive training in pediatrics, completing pediatric internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and pediatric residency at the University of California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Dr. Tullius completed flight surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL, and his pediatric hematology/oncology as well as his cellular therapy fellowships at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander and receiving numerous awards and commendations for his outstanding service. Dr. Tullius has a U.S. Patent on a cellular therapy for treating microbial infections, and a patent pending for an innovative website he helped design to improve access to and awareness of clinical trials.
