Biography: Paramveer Singh, M.D. is a dedicated and compassionate hematologist and internal medicine physician with an extensive research background. In his current role as a hematologist, he treats a wide range of hematological conditions and cancers, including anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, leukemia, and lymphoma, among other blood-based diseases and disorders. Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research's Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center/Sinai Grace Hospital at Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit, MI, where he also served as chief resident. He next completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at WSU's Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. In addition to his stateside training, Dr. Singh has practiced as a junior internal medicine resident and a medical officer in India. Dr. Singh is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, the Michigan Society of Hematology and Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
