Biography: Ziyad Nasrawi, M.D., is a Bariatric and General Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical surgery at Weil Cornell Medicine. Dr. Nasrawi performs minimally invasive bariatric, laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, single anastomosis duodenal intestinal bypass (SADI), and revisional bariatric surgery. Dr. Nasrawi also specializes in foregut surgery including hiatal hernia, paraesophageal hernia, Nissen fundoplication and achalasia. He offers a minimally invasive approach to inguinal, ventral and incisional hernia with a passion for diastasis recti repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Nasrawi graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Then completed his general surgery internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist hospital and an advanced gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery fellowship at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
