Biography: Dr. Evelyn Cantillo completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University prior to pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Columbia University. With this in mind, her aim is to expand access to clinical trials should this become necessary. She is a member of the New Investigators Committee of the national NRG (formerly Gynecologic Oncology Group/GOG). It's important to her that all populations be afforded the same opportunities and treatment.Her interests also include medical education. She has received numerous teaching and surgical awards during residency and fellowship training and has presented her research at regional and national conferences.

Biography: Ziyad Nasrawi, M.D., is a Bariatric and General Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn and assistant professor of clinical surgery at Weil Cornell Medicine. Dr. Nasrawi performs minimally invasive bariatric, laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, single anastomosis duodenal intestinal bypass (SADI), and revisional bariatric surgery. Dr. Nasrawi also specializes in foregut surgery including hiatal hernia, paraesophageal hernia, Nissen fundoplication and achalasia. He offers a minimally invasive approach to inguinal, ventral and incisional hernia with a passion for diastasis recti repair and abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Nasrawi graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Then completed his general surgery internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist hospital and an advanced gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery fellowship at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, Florida. He is board certified in general surgery, fellowship trained in bariatrics and ready to provide comprehensive care to his bariatric, foregut, hernia, and general surgery patients.
