Biography: Dr. Udhay Krishnan grew up in Roslyn Heights, New York, earning his undergraduate education in Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He also completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then returned to New York to complete his fellowship training and board certification in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has now joined the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College New York Presbyterian Hospital as a specialist in Advanced Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Krishnan has a specific interest in pulmonary hypertension, right ventricular failure, cardiogenic shock outcomes and mechanical circulatory support.

Biography: Dr. AshleyBeecyis the Medical Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Operations atNewYork-Presbyterian (NYP). She is a core member of NYP's AI leadership team partnering with clinical, administrative and research leaders across the enterprise to drive digital transformation and deliver on NYP's data and AI strategy. Dr.Beecyprovides leadership in key areas including the governance, processes, and infrastructure to ensure the responsible and agile deployment of AI. She is responsible forNYP's largest enterprise-wide AI initiative in collaboration with Cornell Tech and Cornell University. She is a thought leader and serves as a subject matter expert on multiple national AI collaboratives.Dr.Beecy is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she serves as an attending physician on the consultative cardiology service, inpatient telemetry unit, and cardiac intensive care unit. She leads the informatics work within the Division of Cardiology and has a passion for the use of data science to realize the value of data in support of a learning health system. Her research focus is on digital health and informatics, including the use of AI models for the detection and management of cardiovascular disease and the safe and effective deployment of AI in healthcare. This work has led to numerous peer-reviewed publications and invited presentations.Dr. Beecy completed her undergraduate work in computer engineering. She holds a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to specializing in cardiovascular medicine, she pursued a clinical research fellowship in AI at the Dalio Institute for Cardiovascular Imaging. She completed her fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, where she served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.Prior to a career in healthcare, Dr.Beecy spent a decade working in industry. As an electrical engineer at IBM, she was part of the team completing the custom circuit design of a leading mainframe processor. As a Vice President at Citi, she led the planning, incubation, and development of several company-wide digital initiatives within operational risk management. She has consulted for a range of healthcare companies and participated as a board member to advise on strategy and operations.Dr. Beecy is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Imaging (RPVI). She is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.

Biography: Jennifer Jantz, M.D. joined the Cardiology Division at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College as a full-time faculty member in February 2019. Her practice focuses on transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography for valvular heart disease. The transesophageal images that she produces and interprets guide the placement of therapeutic devices such as MitraClips and transcatheter aortic valves. Originally from Brentwood, TN, Dr. Jantz received her undergraduate degree in Early Modern British History from the University of Chicago. She graduated with honors from the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Jantz completed her internship, residency and served an additional year as Chief Resident in the Yale School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency program. After completing her general cardiology fellowship at Warren Alpert Brown Medical School, she stayed on for an additional year of training in preventive cardiology. Dr. Jantz concluded her training with a fellowship in Interventional Echocardiography at Columbia. Before coming to Cornell, Dr. Jantz practiced at Hartford Hospital, where she was Director of Interventional Echocardiography. Her work with the Hartford Hospital Cardiology Fellowship program earned her the outstanding teaching award. Dr. Jantz is board certified in general cardiology and echocardiography.

Biography: Dr. Kini was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. He received his M.D. from Temple University, and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. During his fellowship he pursued advanced training in echocardiography, and also completed a Master's degree in Health Policy. He was a faculty member at the University of Colorado for five years before joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Biography: Dr. Su Yuan grew up in Toronto, Canada where she completed her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She completed her medical degree at the University of Calgary, then her Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed specialized training in adult echocardiography at the University of Alberta Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, and in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) at the University of Toronto, Toronto General Hospital. She also has a Masters degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario.Dr. Yuan joined the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a specialist in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Echocardiography. Her cardiologist practice includes patients with both acquired and congenital heart disease.
