Care Philosophy: I fell in love with the practice of medicine as a child watching my mother, a doctor, treating her patients. She and her colleagues became my childhood heroes by harnessing their knowledge to cure illness and relieve patients™ pain and suffering. I followed in my mother™s footsteps, earning my medical degree in pediatrics from the Almaty Medical School in Kazakhstan, and practiced medicine in various pediatric clinics in Almaty and Moscow, Russia, for more than 10 years. In 2000, after my family and I immigrated to the United States, I earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Three years later, I completed my Family Practice Residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA. I am certified by National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. For the past 10 years, I have practiced medicine with the Levittown Family Medical Center, in Levittown, PA, and maintained a private practice in Cherry Hill, NJ. In my professional and personal life, I subscribe to the underlying philosophy of osteopathic medicine - that the human body is a unit whose structure and function are interrelated and depend on one another for good health. My focus on family practice, in turn, enables me to serve as clinician, educator and health advocate for my patients, all within the context of an ongoing relationship with my patients.
